Yesterday, I didn't mean I don't enjoy writing, I do. I was just sharing that sometimes things change very, very quickly, and I don't like to give updates until the dust settles around all of those instances before I try to sort them out and explain them. Everything about Alicia seems to be described by doctors as "unique", "uncommon", "outside of expected response", or some other synonym of the same. Often even her doctors will contradict themselves or change their mind quickly. That combined with her rapidly changing constitution can make your head spin some days.
We had a fundraiser committee meeting last night and it continues to amaze me. You are all so generous and kind. A couple housekeeping items to share. If you have reserved tickets for the dinner, but have not paid for them, please do so as soon as practical. We *think* there are about 100 tickets remaining for the dinner, but want to make sure that tickets spoken for are counted correctly. Also, the prize drawing tickets are in and can be picked up from any of the committee members. If you have questions, or concerns, please let us know!
Please pray for Alicia to have the strength to be at home and to get her chemo next week.
